Reg Hand : Piano
Reg is a veteran of the East Midlands swing circuit, appearing regularly at functions, workshops and life performances across the region.
Reg features regularly with the Shipston Street Jazz Orchestra, and is the resident keyboard player with the Nottingham Jazz Workshop, and the function vocal ensemble Mood Swing. A true student of Jazz, Reg's standards repertoire and inquisitive soloing provide the perfect front to Detour Ahead.
Jonathan is an up and coming drummer from Nottingham. He has worked with many of Nottingham's best and brightest musicians, such as international drummer Paul Hose, the Riverbank House Band, vocalist Tashaka, bassist Karl "Moses" Bingham, and keyboard extraordinaire Brett Wales. He is fast becoming a sought after drummer.
Jonathan teaches regularly, both privately and with Nottingham's own MLC Academy. He plays jazz with various bands, groups and ensembles around the area, leads the Nottingham Jazz Workshop's instrumental sessions, and regularly oversees and participates in recording sessions for other musicians, often both at the same time.

Kevin is one of the most sought-after electric bass players in the East Midlands. It seemed only natural that one day, he would turn his attention to the "big fiddle", and he has never looked back since. His vast playing history includes cruise ship work, Madonna tribute acts, The Kommitments, and the coveted Nottingham band the Kit Mason Trio.
Kevin gives tuition in both guitar and bass guitar from his studio in Ilkeston. He also regularly oversees recording sessions and live sets of other musicians. Outside of music, Kevin provides high quality event photography, so in the event that you don't require his musical services, he still has much to offer on your special day.
